Two-Part Art


Program description

Two-Part Art encourages children to experience art as both viewer and maker. Children will participate in a one-hour tour, followed or preceded by a one-hour hands-on art workshop. Both tour and art activity will connect to the California State Visual Art Standards and current SJMA exhibitions.

Cancellation Policy

Tour fees are nonrefundable once a tour reservation is made. The only exception for a full refund is to schools that cancel at least three months before the scheduled tour date.

If your group cancels more than four weeks before the program appointment, your nonrefundable fee can be applied to another guided tour within the same school year.

If your group cancels with less than four weeks’ notice before the program appointment,your nonrefundable fee can be applied to a self-guided tour within the same school year.

If you would like to change the time of your scheduled tour to a different time on the same day, please give us at least four weeks’ notice. We can make this adjustment at no cost, space and availability permitting.

    Do you have art-related activities that are suitable for kids to explore in your museum? How do you charge?



  2. I am looking for an art program for next school year (2019-2020) to get funded through Donors Choose. I currently teach Transitional Kindergarten at McCollam Elementary in Alum Rock School District in San Jose. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a quote from you so I could potentially get this funded through Donors Choose over the summer?
