Silicon Valley Shakespeare

Silicon Valley Shakespeare’s education program is designed to meet the specific needs of Silicon Valley youth with an interest in the performing arts. We are delighted to offer classes designed to help students better understand Shakespeare’s text, better represent themselves as artists, and develop skills to make them stronger actors and technicians.

2015 Offerings

• Summer Shakespeare Camp for Kids and Teens — For students ages 8 to 18.

• Takin’ It to the Schools — A series of modular classes offered in your school, designed to enhance your existing performing arts studies program with experiential learning. Teachers can choose from one or more of our class segments to create the right experience for their students.

• Getting into the Act — Silicon Valley Shakespeare is excited to offer after school theatre performance programs brought to your school. We provide the director, costumes, sets, and technical design staff; your school provides the cast, parent volunteers, and the space!

• Student Performances — We offer a special student matinee of our winter productions at San José State University and special learning opportunities for students at our productions in Willow Street Park in San José.
