Concepts At Play is an in-school residency program with three specific focuses: poetry, science, and English as a second language. Available times:

Anytime during the school day that works in all participating classrooms in your grade level.

Length of program: 1 hour per day for two weeks in each participating classroom
Space / technical requirements:

The space can be your classroom, a multi-purpose room, etc. We only need a large enough space for all the students to sit in a circle. For the open workshop on the last day, the multi-purpose room is a needed.

Costs vary depending on the number of classrooms that participate. The average cost is $1,500.

Cancellation Policy

Since dates for in-school residencies are scheduled almost a year in advance you must notify Katie Bartholomew, Associate Director of Education and Schools, of any schedule changes as soon as possible prior to the start of the residency. If for some reason you need to cancel your residency, please try let Katie know at least a month in advance. You may contact Katie at 650-463-7154 or kbartholomew@theatreworks.org.
