Youthsava
Youthava is India Community Center’s signature youth dance competition, named for the Sanskrit word uthsava, meaning celebration, and youth. This mission centric celebration in dance and music provides youth participants the opportunity to engage with Indian culture, showcase their commitment to dance, and define what it means to be Indian American for them and their generation.
Annually, approximately 1000 youth, ages 4 to 18 from eighty Indo-American dance groups, perform nearly 100 dance routines to an audience of more than 3,000 throughout the 12-hour competition.
