Total sing-along fun in the casual atmosphere of downtown San Jose’s newest arts venue. Easy access from 680/280. Located in the heart of the SoFA Arts District with great places to eat, have coffee, listen to music, visit an art gallery, and more. The theater itself has wine, beer and food.

Your journey to Cherry Tree Lane and the rooftops of London begins with a “practically perfect” vocal warm-up. Then, a host will reach into her magical carpet bag to show you how to use the props in your Fun Pack including a spoonful of sugar and your own umbrella to help you take flight when you are taught the choreography from “Step In Time” and other great songs from the movie. And once the film starts you can “chim chim-in-ey” with a theater full of chimney sweeps, suffragettes, and dancing penguins who love this movie as much as you. Costumes not required but strongly encouraged!

Great Family Entertainment.

Meet Deborah Reber, author of Differently Wired: Raising an Exceptional Child in a Conventional World, a revolutionary book of practical advice and inspiration.Today millions of kids are stuck in a world that doesn't respect, support, or embrace who they really are--these are what Deborah Reber is calling the "differently wired" kids, the one in five children with ADHD, dyslexia, Asperger's, giftedness, anxiety, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodifferences. Their challenges are many. But for the parents who love them, the challenges are just as hard--struggling to find the right school, the right therapist, the right parenting group while feeling isolated and harboring endless internal doubts about what's normal, what's not, and how to handle it all.

As summer kicks into high gear, so will our older Rising Stars – as they take you on a funky journey down a familiar brick road in The Wiz!

We all know the beloved story of L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz:” Dorothy, a restless farm girl eager to escape her humdrum daily life, is transported via tornado to a magical world of Munchkins and talking scarecrows. On her way to beg the Wizard to send her home, Dorothy meets loyal friends who help her defeat the Wicked Witch of the West – and she ultimately learns that, really, there’s no place like home.

Infused with an exuberant mix of rock, gospel and soul, this boisterous twist on an old favorite is a virtual musical circus for everyone!

Sing along to the Tony Award-winning score, including “Ease on Down the Road,” “Be a Lion” and “If You Believe!”
